Engine Room VM are engaged to provide full project management services from briefing stage through to completion, for the Department of Transport’s 13,700sqm workplace and customer service centre in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, which will provide a high-quality and well-designed environment for its workforce and customers.

The state-of-the-art fit-out includes 6 floors of office space, designed to provide flexibility and a collaborative work environment through the use of innovative technology and a variety of elegant work settings. The design showcases a deep understanding for the unique work styles of personnel and provides the amenities to empower and support this agility. COVID-19 has influenced the design to create an environment conducive to social distancing and other mitigating measures in order to provide a safe and thoughtful environment.

This project will include a rooftop terrace for 200 people, basement End of Trip facilities, café and a new VicRoads Customer Service Centre on the Ground Floor.
