This prestigious project was implemented to modernise and enhance the infrastructure and interiors of the hotel at Portman Square to a five star standard.  An initial review completed a project audit to determine the most appropriate delivery strategy for the project.  This involved determining the best mode for delivery of a major refurbishment within an occupied five-star facility while minimising disruption to guests.

The program of works considered the interfacing of operating hotel infrastructure, the feasibility of generating revenue from a partially operational hotel, and ensuring the project was completed within a realistic duration for contractors.

The project scope included the refurbishment back to the buildings structure of 444 Rooms including offices and the Regency Suite and replacement of Hotel plant. The work was completed in 2 stages allowing the Hotel to remain operational during the entire project.
