Engine Room VM were appointed as Project Manager for the replacement of an existing asbestos roofwith a metal deck roof at 50 Salmon Street, Port Melbourne, which is an indoor go-carting centre. The overall roof replacement project included the installation of safety mesh, sarking, box gutters and flashing as well as the removal and reinstatement of all internal mezzanine plasterboard ceilings (including disposal of asbestos dust) and the removal and reinstatement of the rooftop mechanical
plant. Engine Room were also engaged to manage an internal refurbishment of the corporate entertainment area in conjunction with the roof works.
